Charitable activities

Observing a decline in state support for education and sports in recent years, VÁV UNION Kft. has decided to provide assistance in these areas within the limits of its abilities.

Sport

For years, VÁV UNION Kft. has offered ongoing support for the following sports and teams:

• The football team of Nagykovácsi Energia VÁV UNION FC, which plays in the County Second Division
• The field hockey team of ROSCO SE, which – partly due to this support – has won several Hungarian indoor and outdoor championship titles during recent years, and has also enjoyed notable international success
• For the past five years, we have been supporting the Hungarian Junior Open squash tournament, which is included in the World Cup series for this age group, thereby offering opportunities to Hungarian youth for play and development.

Education

Since the academic year of 2005-2006, VÁV UNION Kft. has supported the talented and diligent students at the Electrical Engineering Faculty of the University of Óbuda through a foundation, by each year employing 2-3 students during their final year of studies . The success of this collaboration is attested by the fact that a significant number of these students imagine a future with our company after their year of compulsory internship.
