Quality Assurance

VÁV UNION Ltd.’s quality policy, along with the quality of the products, has undergone an enormous change in the past 10 years.
Fundamental to our company’s strategic target is to offer quality products to a segment of the market with exacting standards.
The company’s organisational structure and the combining of various processes have been developed accordingly and our company’s employees work with this goal in mind.

Bearing these criteria in mind, in 1997 we acquired an ISO 9001: 1994 certificate, which emphasises appropriate quality control aspects according to the idea of quality assurance. The issuer of the certificate was TÜV HANNOVER KTI Ltd.
Having acquired the certificate and as a result of external market tendencies and internal development, the company introduced conscious quality management and quality planning, and in doing so we targeted planned quality, instead of quality control. By doing this, we ensured that our products are already quality-checked in the planning phase, we perform concept-checks, and by this early filtering-out of problems, we can pre-empt the emergence of quality problems. This also results in cutting costs, given that we can do away with unsuitable products.

Our quality management certificate is still valid, as attested by the certificate issued by TÜV NORD Kft.

In addition to voluntary certification, Paksi Atomerőmű Zrt (Paks Nuclear Power Plant Zrt). and MOL Nyrt. have also conducted production audits at our company. Based on the results of these audits, our company can now operate as a certified supplier for these companies.

The company’s management – recognising the fact that under current market conditions, the company can only remain competitive if it constantly develops its organisational structure – has prepared a study on the implementation of the TQM (total quality management) system at the company, whose basic principle is to service customers and clients at an even higher standard.
As a result of the efforts described above, VÁV UNION Kft. is regarded as a reliable partner offering excellent quality according to customer surveys conducted in recent years.
